The Classic loafer. Classically appealing, loafers have become the shoe of 2014. Laceless, offering modern and easy on-the-go style, loafers streamlined shape are transitional from day to night. They are the best “in-between” shoe – need a step up from casual? But don’t want to go too formal? Here is your happy medium that will last for years.

The not-so-basic dress shoe. A lot of men dread dress shoes. They are known to be incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. Dress shoes in 2014 have become much more fashion-forward. Designers have changed the design to add leather that shapes to your foot, and rubber soles to cushion your foot’s form. And then they changed the shape of the shoe altogether so the square toe doesn’t compact your feet. A lot of men have taken it a step further and add stylish socks with fun prints. Dress shoes are more comfortable and more fashionable in 2014.

The Ankle boot. We have seen a variety of ankle boot styles but a military style leather ankle boot is the best way to go. You can wear these ankle boots casually, with a pair of dark denim jeans and a tee or you can dress it up with a sleek, slim and stylish suit for work. Ankle boots are ideal for any kind of weather, as well.

The Boat shoe. We love the boat shoe numerous reasons but the reasons that stand out the most are color and comfort. But it is easy, accessible style, too. Obviously the title “boat shoe” implies you will be wearing these on a yacht, but they are also perfect for a casual Friday at the office. Adorned with various colors and print styles, you will wear these all summer and reuse them for years to come.

Finally, go the extra mile in a stylish sneaker. You can easily choose a black, white or grey basic sneaker to match with any outfit, but a lot of very cool sneakers come in more versatile designs. Adding a little pop of color never hurt! We like high-top sneakers with a nice pair of shorts but we have seen men also wear some fashionable sneakers with a straight leg suit.
