Find the Perfect Television : Wide Selection and Ultimate Convenience at Low Prices

With Christmas quickly approaching, you are probably thinking, what is the best gift this year? If you are like me, you want your gift to stun, amaze and stand out from all the rest! There are so many types of televisions available, you probably have a lot of questions about TVs and what they offer. Here we answer those questions so you are guaranteed to impress the loved one in your life this this stunner of a gift.

What is a 4K Ultra HD TV?

The 4K Ultra HD TV is one of the latest and greatest models that offer an even better display and higher definition. For the avid TV watcher who spends a lot of their time watching their favorite movies, this type of TV will make them happy. Some have even said that if you don’t have 20/20 vision, you will feel like you do when you watch this TV; basically, it offers better image quality than perfect vision can (interesting, right?) The term “Ultra HD” also comes from this coined term that the quality is better than perfect vision and regular HD. If you want to give someone the TV watching experience that offers 4,000 pixels of resolution, here is your perfect gift option.

What is the difference between OLED, LED TV and LCD TV?

Ok, here’s the run-down:

OLED stands for organic light-emitting diode, which means the light frequency is amplified by this organic compound that responds to the electric current the TV emits. Each pixel even has its own light source! An OLED TV also works without the assistance of a backlight, allowing for lighter, more mobile TV displays and screens.

LED TV, unlike the OLED, does have a backlight in order to emit the light and display on to the TV screen. It is understood as an LCD TV with the backlight feature, which improves display quality.

LCD is the original transmissive technology that allowed for high def illumination through each pixel with the use of a back light.

Which one do I get? Plasma TVs, HD TV or a Smart TV?

Plasma is pretty misunderstood by most people! Plasma basically competes with HD (or high-definition) TVs for the best quality award. Plasma TVs use small cells to electrically charge the ions and create the display. Plasmas are older, and require more care – they are heavier and more difficult to transport without damage.

HD is great for anyone. Whether you enjoy watching movies, or are just catching up on your favorite show, HD is a perfect option. HD just refers to picture quality, and it is getting hard to find a TV that doesn’t include HD – but that is good! A basic HD TV is great for anyone.

Smart TVs are the perfect gift for people who are attached to the internet; whether they like playing games, using apps, watching video streams or social media outlets, smart TVs allow for internet connection and ability to stream. If you don’t want to use the internet on your TV, having a smart TV won’t serve its full purpose.

Should I get TV Accessories or a TV Stand?

Answering this question is really up to you – TV stands are pretty old school, since most TVs can hang off the wall now but if they don’t want to drill holes in the wall (or can’t drill into the wall) there are a lot of really nice, lightweight TV stands available! You may also want to get some cord covers just in case the TV is placed where the cords can’t be hidden. You don’t want to cords to be an eye sore!

What about the good ‘ol Portable TV?

For the most part, portable TVs are so 90s! But hey, portable TVs are also available for a steal!
